The Census Federal Credit Union was established in 1948 to provide financial services to the employees of the Census Bureau. As a member, you share in the ownership of a full service financial institution and being an owner makes a difference.

Your ownership entitles you to vote for the individuals who serve on the Credit Union’s Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible to approve policies or procedures and provide direction for the financial future of the credit union. Census Federal Credit Union is committed to offering quality financial services, competitive loan rates, higher dividend rates, and lower fees to our members because we are not for profit, but for service.

Our goal is to strive to meet our member needs by providing a safe and sound financial alternative. All accounts are insured up to $250,000.00 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Whether it’s opening your child’s first savings account or buying a new home, we’re here to serve you.
